Well, we finally made it home ! It seemed to take much longer to get home than it did to get to China. Our Hong Kong to Newark flight took 15 1/2 hours and our Newark to West Palm Beach flight was 2 1/2 hours. We traveled a total of 24 hours. Maya did great for the most part on the long flight. There were times when she was bored and we had to take a stroll around the airplane to keep her entertained. Thank goodness for Aunt Debbie and Uncle Joe Joe because they took over watching her for a while so we could rest. The flight to West Palm beach was very easy...Maya slept the whole way. We were exhausted by the time we got home. John's brother Calvin and his Mother came to the airport to pick us up. When we got home Matt, and Laurie's Mom and Dad were there to greet us. Maya was very tired and not sure what was going on. She was afraid of the dogs at first except for Beaumont ( our little Shih-tzu) she thought he was a toy and was so excited to touch him. She didn't stay awake very long and really didn't get chance to check out the house or her room. Maya slept for a couple of hours and then got up at midnight and stayed up until about 3am. Poor baby's time clock is not quite right yet. Neither is ours ! Here are a few pictures from our flight home.
